Castro, a 29-year-old bank employee from Belo Horizonte, became infamous in December when a video of her refusing to give up her pre-selected window seat to a crying child made waves online.

The incident began when Castro boarded the plane to find a child sitting in her assigned window seat. Expecting the child to move, she waited, hoping for a smooth resolution.

I waited for him to correctly accommodate himself in another seat, and then I sat down,” Castro explained, emphasizing that she simply wanted to sit in her pre-selected seat.

While the child cried during the flight, Castro found herself increasingly uncomfortable, especially since the situation was filmed without asking for permission.
